The city of London has some of the most highly qualified, highly sought after, and highly experienced personal trainers in all of the UK. Some of the trainers listed here have trained celebrities to get ready for blockbuster movies that know that they need to have a particular look to withstand the scrutiny they’ll get. Some trainers have trained members of the Royal family. And some have even developed celebrity status themselves by nature of the transformations they’ve helped their clients to achieve. This list looks at the 20 best personal trainers in London and the methods they use to get their clients incredible, life-changing transformations. 1. Aimee Victoria Long Aimee is the owner of The Body Beautiful Method. A training style which merges the body weight strength of Pilates and barre with conditioning to develop strong, mobile bodies. She runs virtual training classes for one to one clients, as well as group training on Zoom. She works with a number of TV personalities, and her work is all done virtually. Group classes are available through purchasing a bundle deal or individually. Her focus is the development of strength and elegance. 2. Dalton Wong Dalton owns west London based gym TwentyTwo. His focus is on exercise, nutrition, lifestyle and recovering well. He uses unique miniband and glider combination workouts to work your muscles in a way you don’t in other training methods. Dalton has trained a number of celebrity clients, and sessions are available face to face in the studio or remotely on Zoom. Don’t be fooled by the minimal equipment approach; these workouts hit muscles in a completely different way. You’ll know you’ve trained hard with Dalton. 3. Sarah Lindsay Sarah, an ex Olympic speed skater, is the co-founder of boutique studio gym Roar Fitness. She specialises in total body transformations and has worked alongside a number of celebrity clients in her coaching facilities based in Roar Bank, Liverpool Street and High Street Kensington. Having trained the likes of Professor Green, Pixie Lott and Ellie Goulding, she specialises in fat loss and muscle building transformations by using resistance training and a focus on nutrition. She gets outstanding results, and her transformation packages start at £2.2k for 8 weeks. 4. Mark Ireland Mark’s pro rugby background has influenced his training style at his Moorgate based private studio “Outrivals”. He uses athletic approaches to get you moving well, without pain. He uses a range of strength and conditioning techniques, like mobility drills, plyometrics and a range of equipment to push you to give your best in every session. Progress is made fast! Making mobility a priority, you’re always properly ready to hit your session with the intensity it deserves, and you know exactly how to recover fully. That means you’ll be ready to train again as soon as your body has fueled with good nutrition and rested with proper sleep. 5. Louisa Drake Louisa uses her unique Louisa Drake Method to train her clients in her Fitzrovia studio, which borrows from a range of other disciplines including yoga, Pilates, barre, conditioning, cardio and resistance bands to get results. However, Louisa takes the time to conduct a detailed assessment of lifestyle factors which can often have a significant effect on results. Her willingness to take into account stress, sleep, and nutrition means her clients get a holistic approach to their strength and fitness. These lifestyle factors are often the missing piece of the jigsaw, and taking the time to have a full plan in place means these results are outstanding. 6. Lyanne (Tig) and Sam https://www.lukeworthington.com/about/Lyanne and Sam run a female-only strength-based training facility with a focus on getting strong, conditioning, and Olympic weightlifting.
