It's been a slow week in science but we still found a handful of papers that are super relevant of a range of personal training clients. The Highlights:

Source: University of Copenhagen - The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Drug that lowers blood sugar also reduces blood vessel dysfunction caused by aging An FDA-approved drug to lower blood sugar in adults with Type 2 diabetes also may decrease blood vessel dysfunction associated with aging, according to a new study. Source: University of Missouri-Columbia How eating eggs can boost heart health Researchers have shown how moderate egg consumption can increase the amount of heart-healthy metabolites in the blood. Source: eLife Protein supplement helps control Type 2 diabetes A study which holds potential for dietary management of the condition, has shown that drinking a small amount of why protein before meals helps people with type 2 diabetes control their blood sugar. The work shows for the first time this works in people as they went about normal everyday life.
